Telangana: All government, private schools to operate for half day from Mar 15
Schools would function from 8 am to 12:30 pm

Hyderabad: Government, government-aided and private schools will operate for half a day from March 15.
Director of School Education announced that primary, upper primary, and high schools under government, government-aided, and private management in Telangana will operate for half a day from March 15 to the last working day of April 24.
Director of School Education issued a circular asking all Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers (DEOs) to announce that schools would function from 8 am to 12:30 pm.
As per the circular, midday meals will be served to the students at 12:30 pm. However, special classes for Class X students preparing for the SSC Public Examination in April 2023 would continue undisturbed. Schools with SSC Examination Centers would operate from 1 pm to 5 pm.
The circular also directed all Regional Joint Directors of School Education and DEOs to communicate the orders to schools under their management and monitor their implementation.
