Telangana extends ban on rallies, public meetings till Jan 20
KCR appealed to people not to move in groups especially during the Sankranthi festival and try to stay home.

The ban on rallies, public meetings, and public gatherings was to end today.
KCR appealed to people not to move in groups especially during the Sankranthi festival and try to stay home. He asked citizens to remain alert, take self-regulatory measures and follow the government guidelines in letter and spirit. He also urged people to wear masks, maintain physical distance, take vaccines, and take other self-regulatory measures.

Meanwhile, a huge rush was seen in Secunderabad railway station on Monday morning. People were rushing to native places for the Sankranthi holidays.
