Hyderabad: Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad on Saturday said heatwave conditions are likely to prevail in isolated pockets in Telangana for the next three days. According to IMD's weekly seven-day forecast, heatwave conditions are likely to prevail in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, and Nirmal on April 30 and May 1 and 2.

IMD has also warned of thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with a speed of 30-40 kmph at isolated places in a few districts of Telangana from 30 April to 5 May.

Kerameri in Komaram Bheem Asifabad and Endapally in Jagtial recorded the state's highest maximum temperature of 45.8 degrees Celsius in the last 24 hours, reported Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS). Besides Kerameri, several other places across the state recorded temperatures above 45 degrees Celsius.

Kolvai (Jagtial)- 45.5 degree C

Kouthala (KB Asifabad)- 45.4 degree C

Jainad (Adilabad)- 45.4 degree C

Chaprala (Adilabad)- 45.3 degree C

Medipalle (Jagtial)- 45.3 degree C

Nizamabad North (Nizamabad)- 45.2 degree C

Thirumalgiri (Suryapet)- 45.2 degree C

In Hyderabad, Sardarmahal in Charminar recorded the city's highest maximum temperature of 41 degree Celsius. There was no rainfall recorded from any part of the state in the last 24 hours.




Meanwhile, T Balaji popular as Telangana Weatherman said April 30 is going to be the hottest day in Hyderabad., "Today is going to be the hottest day in Hyderabad with temperatures touching 42 degrees Celsius at a few places in the city. Please stay indoors during afternoon time and stay hydrated," he tweeted. He said after 2--3 days temperatures are expected to drop.
