Hyderabad: The Government of Telangana has made Telugu compulsory in all CBSE, ICSE, IB and other Board-affiliated schools across Telangana.

With this order, from the 2025ā€“26 academic year, all CBSE, ICSE, and IB board schools must strictly comply with the Telugu language education mandate for Classes I to X.

The Department of School Education on Tuesday issued an official communication and asked the schools to implement this strictly.
