Hyderabad: Several key decisions regarding the plan to oppose the AP government's Godavari project, disbursement of Rythu Bharosa, local body elections and the new Telangana Sports Policy were taken in the Telangana State Cabinet meeting, led by chief minister A Revanth Reddy, at the State Secretariat on Monday.

Here are 10 decisions of the Telangana Cabinet to watch out for:

1) Oppose the Godavari-Banakacheral project proposed by Andhra Pradesh and direct all legal and judicial avenues to stop the project.

2) Discuss the unresolved issues from the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act in the next meeting of the two States’ official committees.

3) Make June 30 the deadline for the submission of details of the Kaleshwaram project, according to the letter from the PC Ghose Commission.

4) Unveil the Telangana Rising Vision 2047 document on December 9. The aim is to grow the economy to one trillion dollars by 2035 and three trillion dollars by 2047.

5) Implement the new Telangana Sports Policy approved for nurturing sporting talent and improving infrastructure.

6) The Cabinet approved the disbursement of Rythu Bharosa.

7) Installation of Telangana Thalli statues in all district collectorates.

8) The Cabinet approved the alignment proposal for the southern segment of the Regional Ring Road (RRR) around Hyderabad. Among the three proposals presented by the Roads and Buildings Department, the Cabinet finalised the 201-km alignment from Choutuppal to Sangareddy.

9) Two new municipalities created—Indresham and Jinnaram—in the Sangareddy district. The Cabinet also decided to upgrade Isnapur to a municipality.

10) Begin recruitment for 316 posts, including commissioners and other staff for newly established municipalities.
