TS forest department to celebrate KBR Park day on 3 December
The forest department has planned to estimate the population of peafowl in the national park. For this, a trail or transect walk will be conducted to collect data.

Hyderabad: The Telangana forest department on Tuesday announced it will celebrate Peacock Festival and KBR National Park Day on 3 December 2021.
The forest department has planned to estimate the population of peafowl in the national park. For this, a trail or transect walk will be conducted to collect data. The department has sought the cooperation of NGOs, volunteers, and nature lovers to collect data.
The data collection is proposed to commence at 6 a.m on 1 December and is expected to be completed by 9 a.m the same day. The forest department said all arrangements are being made to conduct the trail- cum-transect walk. Breakfast will be provided to the participants, said officials.
The forest department said every year it has received wholehearted response from NGOs and volunteers and they are expecting the same this year also.
