TS records 2,606 more Covid cases; GHMC contributes 60% of them

Out of the total 73,156 samples tested today, 3.5% tested positive. GHMC contributed around 60% of the positive cases i.e; 1,583 cases.

Hyderabad: Telangana on January 8 reported 2,606 more Covid cases. Out of the total 73,156 samples tested today, 3.5% tested positive.

Meanwhile 285 people recovered from the infection and 2 died due to the infection on Saturday.

GHMC contributed around 60% of the positive cases i.e; 1,583 cases.

Covid cases in Medchal Malkajgiri and Rangareddy districts are also found to be increasing.

On January 7, the state had reported 2,295 Covid positive cases. Compared to this, today, the positive cases in Telangana have gone up by 13.5%.
