TSRTC earned over Rs. 107 crores during Sankranthi season

TSRTC earned over Rs. 107 crores during Sankranthi season

Hyderabad: Telangana State Road Transportation Corporation (TSRTC) earned more than Rs. 107 crores during the festive season of Sankranthi in January 2022.

From 7 to 17 January, TSRTC earned total revenue of Rs. 107.31 crores by arranging additional services for the festive season.

As per the data released by TSRTC, during the Sankranthi festival, it ran an additional 4,000 buses, including scheduled buses, for the convenience of the people. Nearly 55 lakh additional passengers were handled by the TSRTC this Sankranthi season.

On average, TSRTC made around Rs. 9.75 crores every day from 7 to 17 January. The highest per day earnings were made on 17 January (Rs. 12.21 crores), on 7 January (Rs. 12.04 crores), and on 8 January (Rs. 11.89 crores).
