Hyderabad: Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has started mini-bus services to Yadadri from Hyderabad.
Over a hundred mini-buses have been pressed into service to ferry pilgrims and other passengers.
TSRTC Chairman and MLA Bajireddy Govardhan and VC & MD V.C Sajjanar, along with local MLA Bethi Subhash Reddy flagged off mini-bus services to Yadagigigutta at Uppal Bus Stop.
Sajjanar said that the mini-buses take the public directly to the newly constructed shrine that was inaugurated on March 28.
He said that appropriate steps were being taken to overcome the losses of the corporation, and requested the public to understand the situation and cooperate in the decisions of the Corporation.
"These services are available not only from Hyderabad but also from various districts. Yadadri Darshini minibusses are serving the devotees from JBS, Uppal, Bhuvanagiri, Yadagirigutta," Sajjanar said.
The buses are also having the facility of playing devotional songs.
"In the future, buses would be increased with demand and appropriate activities were being set up to connect transport services to Yadagirigutta from shrines like Basara, Vemulawada, Kaleswaram, and Bhadrachalam, etc.," he said.
Further, he said that the TSRTC is taking appropriate steps to provide better services so that people can travel smoothly.
