"I shall never forget the love, affection, and spirit of Telangana people and will forever cherish my journey with Telangana in this yatra," Rahul said.
"On my previous visits to Telangana, it was very formal interaction with the people and now we all the Congress leaders have seen the real Telangana through this yatra. I happened to meet all sections of the state and could hear all their issues."
Gandhi said that the people of Telangana were willing to meet the yatris and give their representations.
He alleged that the people of Telangana were unable to get education and medical service due to the KCR government's privatization policies.
Rahul noted that the TRS government has never implemented the bill ensuring the rights of the tribal people and instead they are looting the lands of girijans by not giving the land rights to the owners. He assured once the Congress government comes to power, they would give them back their land rights.
Referring to his interactions with farmers, Gandhi said, "I haven't met any farmer throughout the yatra who is happy and earning profits. The previous UPA government waived off RS 72,000 crores of farmer loans. We shall do a complete farmer loan waiver after coming to power. We shall give the MSP rates to all the crops from the farm and benefit farmers."
Further, he spoke about demonetization, GST, and other policies of the central government aimed at spreading hatred. He also alleged that TRS and BJP are working together.
