Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday released the memoirs of senior journalist A Saye Sekhar.
'WittyLeaks’ is a compilation of stories - memoirs - of Saye Sekhar since the beginning of his career in 1988 as a journalist with Eenadu. The book encompasses mostly the fun side of famous people.
He has covered several Chief Ministers of undivided Andhra Pradesh and the separate states of AP and Telangana.
The popular personalities beginning with N T Rama Rao, followed by Marri Channa Reddy, Nedurumalli Janardhana Reddy, Kotla Vijayabhaskara Reddy, N Chandrababu Naidu, Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, K Rosaiah, N Kiran Kumar Reddy, YS Jaganmohan Reddy, K Chandrashekar Rao and A Revanth Reddy.
He also has covered certain important personalities like the late Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao, the late Karnataka Chief Minister S Bangarappa, former Chairman of ITC Yogi Deveshwar, and many others.
The events covered are mostly interesting anecdotes that bring smiles to the faces of readers; some of the stories like the death of NTR were poignant. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy congratulated Saye Sekhar on compiling the stories that were news beyond the news and untold stories that were not published. Saye Sekhar thanked the Chief Minister for his gesture in launching his maiden book.
