YS Viveka’s wife asks Telangana High Court not to grant bail to accused

Hyderabad: A Telangana High Court Single Bench of Justice Chillakur Sumalatha, on Thursday, heard the bail petition of Sunil Yadav, an accused in the YS Viveka murder case.

Y.S. Saubhagyamma, the wife of late YS Vivekananda Reddy, filed an implead petition, objecting to the bail plea of Sunil Yadav. She said he should not be granted bail.

Further, Saubhagyamma mentioned in her plea that if bail is granted to the accused at the trial stage, there is a possibility of influencing the witnesses.

The court said it will hear the arguments on 27 February.

Moreover, the CBI is also likely to file a petition objecting to Sunil Yadav’s bail plea.

The matter was adjourned to 27 February.
