6 teens arrested for robbery, breaking open ATM in Vizag

In the first incident, five teenagers, including four juveniles, were arrested on Saturday in connection with a robbery case under MVP Colony police station limits in the city. The juveniles are in the age group of 15-19 years.
On the morning of 18 March, the five teenagers led by Pukkalla Mahesh (19), a resident of Appughar, followed N. Narayana Rao, a chef, while he was walking towards Lawsons Bay Colony from MVP Colony. Deputy commissioner of police (crimes) A. Suresh Babu said the motorbike-borne teenagers hit Rao with a rod and snatched Rs. 40,000 cash from him and fled the spot.
Based on Rao's complaint, the police formed a special team and nabbed the five persons. The police recovered Rs. 35,000 cash and two bikes from them.
