Fire at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, no casualties reported
According to sources, a ladle (vessel used to transport and pour out molten metals) had a hole through which molten fluid leaked out causing a fire.

Visakhapatnam: A fire broke out at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant on Saturday after a leak in the pressure tube liquid at blast furnace plant 2. The incident happened between 7.30-8 a.m.
According to sources, a ladle (vessel used to transport and pour out molten metals) had a hole through which molten fluid leaked out causing a fire. Two trucks which were near the incident spot were burned.
Firefighters immediately rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
The officials said no casualties were reported. However, as per the preliminary report, the damages would be around Rs. 50 lakh.
