SSC paper leak: 9 teachers among 12 arrested in Kurnool
Teachers took the help of clerk Rajesh and craft teacher Ranganayakulu and shared the question paper on the WhatsApp group
By Newsmeter Network Published on 29 April 2022 4:26 AM GMTKurnool: Kurnool district police arrested 12 persons including nine teachers involved in the SSC Telugu question paper leak. The paper was leaked from Akkireddypalli Zilla Parishad high school in Kolimigundla Mandal, Nandyal district.
Those arrested include K Nagaraju, Neelakanteswara Reddy, Aryabhattu, A Pothuluru, Madhu, Dastagiri, Venkateswarulu, Vanajakshi, and S Lakshmi Durga, along with other staff Rajesh, Bonthala Maddileti and Ranganayakulu. "A total of 183 students appeared for the exam. Nine teachers and school clerk planned to leak the paper to ensure all students get pass marks," said Kurnool Deputy Inspector General (DIG) S Senthil Kumar.

Modus operandi
Rajesh took photos of the question paper from student Sampangi Sruthi in room no 3. He then gave the mobile to craft teacher Ranganayakulu and passed it to others. The teachers then prepared the answers and sent them to class IX boys, who were serving drinking water at the center. "The invigilators made a plan and allowed mass copying," said DIG.
Teacher arrested from Chittoor
Police have arrested Giridhar Reddy, a teacher at Narayana Educational Institute, Chittoor. He had shared the paper on Whatsapp groups. Police are investigating with whom he shared the question paper.
