An old woman sat outside the polling booth in Uppula village with no idea where to go to cast her vote. But she was determined to vote. She had just realized that her name was not on the voters' list in the polling booth and that she had come to the wrong one. Her face was overcast with fear and uncertainty.
When the Warangal police commissioner, Tarun Joshi, visited the booth to check the polling situation there, he inquired why the woman was sitting outside. Knowing that the woman had made a mistake, he helped her find the right polling booth. Using her voter identity card and the voters' list, he found her booth and arranged for an auto to take her there.
