Restriction on inter-state travel to continue in AP: DGP

Director-General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Gowtham Sawang said restrictions on inter-state transport and travel shall continue till the government takes a decision.
He said people, who want to come to Andhra Pradesh from other states have to obtain e-pass through Spandana Portal.
People coming from low COVID-19 intensity states would have to undergo home quarantine for seven days.
People arriving from high-intensity COVID-19 states would have to undergo seven-day institutional quarantine. They would be tested for COVID 19 after one week of quarantine.
If tested negative, they would be put under home quarantine for seven more days. If tested positive, they would be admitted to COVID-19 hospitals.
The DGP said that restrictions at the state borders - Andhra Pradesh- Telangana, Andhra Pradesh- Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh- Odisha -- will continue.
On the other hand, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said there would be no restrictions on inter-state movement and no separate permission would be required for such travel.
