RIP masterji: Veteran choreographer Saroj Khan passes away

She is survived by her husband Sohan Lal, daughters, Hina and Sukhaina Khan and son Raju. She was rushed to Guru Nanak Hospital on June 20 after she complained of breathlessness. She was tested for CoVID-19 and the results came out negative.
Family sources had hinted that she would be discharged soon as she had shown signs of recovery. However, her condition deteriorated and she breathed her last at 2:30 am on Friday.
"Woke up to the sad news that legendary choreographer #SarojKhan ji is no more. She made dance look easy almost like anybody can dance, a huge loss for the industry. May her soul rest in peace šš»," tweeted actor Akshay Kumar.
Saroj Khan had won many awards and most of her hits starred late Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit.
"I'm devastated by the loss of my friend and guru, Saroj Khan. Will always be grateful for her work in helping me reach my full potential in dance. The world has lost an amazingly talented person. I will miss youš My sincere condolences to the family. #RIPSarojji," Madhuri Dixit tweeted.
The whole film fraternity has slipped in a shock after her death.
"This is sad news early in the morning. Since childhood, I was trained in Indian classical dance..It was she who taught me film dance once I joined films..(Which I had zero knowledge of). A tough taskmaster and a great one!! #RIPSarojKhan JI š," Manisha Koirala wrote.
Bollywood film industry has lost quite a few icons this year. Saroj Khan's passing away has created a vacuum that will be difficult to fill. Her "Ek Do Teen", "Dhak dhak karne laga", "Tamma tamma loge" and many such items will remain ageless and priceless
