Robbery suspect severely tortured by Bangalore Police

The police officials in civil dress held the person in upside-down using a stick. According to media reports, the police officer identified as Srikanth Gowda sub-inspector of police at Bangaloreās Subramanya Nagar police station with the help of a bamboo stick thrashed the person with immense force.
The victim can be seen shouting and crying from pain while the police beat him. The thrashing did not stop with this. The victim was then placed on the floor with the feet of two officers on the victimās body so that he couldn't move during the beating. The police officer used a hockey stick this time and hit the victim on his legs.
Bhaskar Rao, Bangalore Police Commissioner, has ordered an enquiry into the issue and has suspended the accused inspector. The victim is a suspect in a robbery case, reported in media.
