Rule-breaking biker assaults home guard for stopping him

Hyderabad: A biker assaulted a home guard assigned to the traffic wing at Jubilee Hills check post junction in Hyderabad on Friday morning. The officer stopped the unidentified biker as he was driving in the wrong direction. The enraged biker abused the home guard, claiming that if the latter wants, a challan can be issued but he can’t stop the bike.

The situation escalated when the biker assaulted the guard in front of the public and sped away. The home guard later lodged a complaint with the Jubilee Hills police station, and a case has been registered.
