SC advocate wants to be public prosecutor in vet doctor's murder case

Hyderabad: A senior advocate from Supreme Court, Mr Vineet Dhanda wants to be a Special Public Prosecutor in Dr Disha (name changed) gang-rape and murder case.

He urged Telangana government to make him the Special Public Prosecutor in this case. He also said that he will surely ensure death sentence to all those behind the gruesome incident, which, he said, had shocked him, like it has the nation,

In his Twitter handle he wrote, “Totally Ashamed and Aghast on the painful murder of Dr Disha in Telangana. Sister may you rest in peace. The perpetrators of this crime should not be given a single hour to live they should be burnt publicly alive.Sorry sister we defeated you as humans #RIPdisha".

He further tweeted and requested Telangana govt, "I request @TelanganaCMO to make me Special Public prosecutor in this case. I must ensure death sentence to those bastards who committed this crime. I vow to fight for our sister pro bono till Hon’ble supreme court of India till these animals are hanged. #justicefordisha".

Vineet Dhanda, who has been associated with international bar council, has been associated with high-profile cases like Rafale, Sabarimala, Nirav Modi, Nowhera Shaikh.
