School bus hits divider; 3 children dead, several injured

This incident took place in Rajanna, Sircilla District near the Vemulawada Bus Depot, as a school bus carrying 26 students from the Vaageeshwari Talent school tried to avoid a collision as a Ganesha Procession was coming towards the bus. In an attempt to avoid the collision, the bus hit a divider resulting in which 3 students were thrown out of the window.
Three children identified as Kasaram Manichandana Rai (age 15), and G Deekshitha (8) succumbed to the injuries on the spot while P Rishi (7) died while undergoing treatment.
All the other students with severe injuries were shifted to a local hospital and are undergoing treatment.
The Sircilla police ruled out all suspicions of the driver being under the influence of alcohol as they conducted a breath analyzer test. However, they have taken him under custody and have sent his blood sample for testing.
Health Minister of Telangana state, Mr Eatala Rajender rushed to the hospital as he was in Karimnagar to make sure that everything is going accordingly.
