Hyderabad: AIG Hospitals has launched a new 300-bed multispecialty facility at Banjara Hills.

The new branch, located in the heart of Hyderabad, aims to provide advanced, patient-centric care across a range of medical and surgical disciplines.

Inaugurated by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy

The new hospital was officially inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Telangana, A. Revanth Reddy, who commended AIG Hospitals for its pioneering work in healthcare delivery and innovation.

“Dr. Nageshwar Reddy Garu and AIG Hospitals have brought immense pride to our state with their world-class healthcare delivery and groundbreaking work in gastroenterology and allied specialties,” the Chief Minister said. “Their dedication to pushing the frontiers of medicine, research, and innovation is truly inspiring. As a government, we are keen to collaborate with institutions like AIG Hospitals for impactful health initiatives that reach every corner of Telangana.”

He also acknowledged the work of the hospital’s Centre for Artificial Intelligence & Innovation, particularly highlighting the Janani Mitra App, designed to support maternal healthcare. “We would be very happy to explore a similar solution to strengthen maternal healthcare in Telangana,” he added.

Key Medical Infrastructure and Specialties

The Banjara Hills branch is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, including:

• Twin hybrid cath labs with advanced integrated imaging systems

• Fully modular operating theatres

• High-end CT and MRI machines

• Dedicated GI endoscopy suites

It will offer centres of excellence in multiple areas, including Gastroenterology, Cardiology (including Pediatric Cardiac Surgery), Liver Sciences, Pulmonary Medicine, Neurosciences, and Renal & Bladder Sciences.

Focus on Clinical Excellence and Research

According to Dr. D. Nageshwar Reddy, Chairman of AIG Hospitals, the new branch continues the institution’s mission of combining care, education, and research.

A distinguishing feature of the new facility is the AIG Centre for Artificial Intelligence & Innovation, which will integrate AI solutions into clinical workflows.

“With the Centre for Artificial Intelligence & Innovation, we aim to redefine how healthcare is delivered by combining human expertise with technology’s limitless potential,” said Dr. Reddy.

“We are developing transformative tools like PRISM (our structured voice-enabled EMR tool), the AI-based Polyp Detection Tool for real-time early cancer detection, and the Sepsis Prediction Tool that helps save lives in ICUs. These innovations show how human expertise and artificial intelligence can come together to create smarter, faster, and safer healthcare for everyone.”
