Hyderabad: Doctors perform complex surgery, help woman to deliver four babies

The surgery was performed under the supervision of Dr. Sahiba Shakoor. The woman delivered two boys and two girls
Details reveal that 26-year-old Asma (name changed) was referred to Mina Hospital after her first abdominal scan revealed four fetuses. Since then, the hospital's team provided specialized care and close monitoring during her pregnancy.
The team of Dr. Shakoor, Dr. Ishrat, and Dr. Ramana Priya performed the surgery, delivering four healthy babies. āThe babies weigh between 1.3 kg to 1.5 kg,ā the doctor said.
The newborns are receiving treatment in the intensive care unit under the supervision of Dr. Sachin, a pediatrician.
This is not the first time Mina Hospital has performed such a complex surgery; four similar successful operations have been conducted previously. Dr. Shakoor's team is renowned nationwide for accepting challenging tasks in the gynecology department.
