Hyderabad: Continuing its accelerated recruitment drive to strengthen Telangana’s public healthcare system, the Medical & Health Services Recruitment Board (MHSRB) has released the First Provisional Merit List for the post of Speech Pathologist.
This marks the next phase of appointments following the completion of the Lab Technician recruitment process.
The move comes shortly after the Board successfully concluded selections for 1,284 Lab Technician posts, signalling a faster turnaround in filling critical healthcare vacancies.
Applicant data uploaded for transparency
In a bid to maintain transparency in the selection process, the MHSRB has uploaded complete applicant-wise details on its official website. The data includes:
• Marks secured in academic qualifications
• Weightage points awarded for contract or outsourcing service
• Local status details of each applicant
Candidates have been advised to verify their information by logging in to the official portal at mhsrb.telangana.gov.in.
According to the Board’s notification, the data has been published ‘to enable applicants to cross-check the marks and weightage awarded as per rules.’
Objections window open till January 5
The Board has provided applicants with an opportunity to raise objections if any discrepancies are found in the published data.
As per the official instructions, “Candidates having objections, if any, should submit them on or before 5 pm on January 5, 2026.”
The MHSRB has clearly stated that objections will be accepted only through the online applicant login available on the website.
“Representations received through offline mode, physical mail or any other channel will not be considered,” the notification clarified.
Multi zone-I candidates not considered
The Board has also issued a clarification regarding geographical eligibility for this recruitment.
It stated that since no vacancies were notified under Multi Zone-I for the Speech Pathologist notification, candidates belonging to Multi Zone-I are not being considered for selection under this recruitment cycle.
This clarification aims to address queries from applicants regarding zone-wise eligibility and prevent confusion during the objection stage.
Recruitment drive gains momentum
With the Speech Pathologist merit list now released, the MHSRB continues to move sequentially through pending healthcare recruitments.
Officials indicate that the Board is prioritising the timely processing of merit lists, objections, and final selections to address staffing gaps across government health facilities.
Applicants are advised to regularly monitor the official website for further updates related to final merit lists and appointment procedures.
