Second case of COVID-19 local transmission in Telangana

In a statement released by the Director of Public Health and Family Welfare, the total number of confirmed corona-positive cases has reached 33 in the state, as of now.
While two of the three new patients have a foreign travel history, the most recent case had maintained contact with the group from Indonesia, according to health officials.
Telangana Health Minister Eatela Rajender while speaking to media said, "We have recorded a second case of local transmission in Telangana. He was with the Indonesian group in Karimnagar, that's how he got infected."
All the three cases have been admitted in Gandhi hospital, one of the nodal centres for coronavirus in the state.
The three new patients include a 21-year-old man who had returned from France, a 30-year-old man who had returned from London and a 23-year-old man who was in contact with the group from Indonesia.
Telangana on March 21st, recorded six new positive cases. In order to control the outbreak, the state is under complete lockdown as ordered by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. The total number of cases in India has increased to 454 as 81 positive cases were recorded in just 24 hours. Including Telangana other states like Punjab , Chattisgarh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan and other states including National capital Delhi has declared complete lock down.
