Second-look poster of Sheer Qorma, the LGBTQ film, raises expectations 

Hyderabad: Sheer Qorma has been making headlines for being one of those few movies that are made on LGBTQ. This film has Shabana Azmi, Swara Bhaskar and Divya Dutta in lead roles. The first look of the film was out sometime back and it was received well by netizens. Recently, the makers unveiled the second-look poster and this one raises expectations on the film. The film is directed by Faraz Arif Ansari and Marijke De Souza.

Sawara Bhaskar shared the poster on her social media account and wrote, “Yayyyeeee! A second look from @farazarifansari ‘s #sheerqorma where I had the honour of finally working with @azmishabana18 @divyadutta25 Posted @withrepost • @farazarifansari Love is not a sin | मोहब्बत गुनाह नहीं है | | @sheerqorma.thefilm | coming soon.” (sic)

Earlier this year. Director Faraz wrote a long post on social media with the first look poster of the Sheer Qorma. He wrote: “…How can love ever be wrong? How can love ever be a sin? Love is what puts so much of life and hope in our world, making it more beautiful, more bearable — how can love get so much of hate? And so, using storytelling and cinema as a tool to open a dialogue, we decided to come together to make a film about love and acceptance for love is love. #SheerQorma is our love letter to hate."

The film is something that is very much needed in society now and all eyes are on this film. The poster suggests that the film is going to be a heart-warming and moving tale of love that flourishes between two women. The film might release later this year, though the date is yet to be announced. It is expected to be received well at the box office.
