Septuagenarian petitions to marry PV Sindhu

Chennai : Seventy-year-old Malaisamy has become an internet sensation thanks to a unique petition he filed with the Ramanathapuram , a district in Tamil Nadu, Collector. In his request, the septuagenarian wrote that he desires to marry ace badminton player PV Sindhu, as he was impressed with the 24-year-old’s career. He added that he would kidnap and marry Sindhu if his request was denied.

Malaisamy also included a photograph of the badminton champion alongside his petition. To make things more interesting, he claimed that he was only 16 years old — born on April 4, 2004. Regardless of the request’s absurdity, he was able to shock the officials and public who were present at the weekly meeting organised by the district collector.
