Shahid Kapoor to do the Hindi remake of Jersey

Hyderabad: Shahid Kapoor is all set to remake another Telugu film now. The actor is currently basking on the success of his recent movie Kabir Singh — a Hindi remake of Telugu super hit Arjun Reddy. This remake project has received hatred as well as love from its audience. Kiara Advani played the leading lady in this film.
As per latest sources, Shahid is going to remake Telugu blockbuster Jersey, which had Nani, Shraddha Srinath and Satyaraj in lead roles. This film has received love from all over, and this took Nani’s career to a successful level.
Jersey is a sports drama that revolves around a failed cricketer (played by Nani) who decides to revive his cricketing career in his late 30s despite everyone being sceptical of his ability to do so. The yet-untitled Hindi remake will be jointly produced by Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations, Allu Aravind’s Geetha Arts and Aman Gill’s Brat Films.
Also, it is said that Rashmika Mandanna of Dear Comrade is in talks with the makers to play the leading lady of this film, but an official confirmation is awaited. Also, Shahid hasn’t announced either this or any other project after Kabir Singh.
