Jayeshbhai Jordaar is a famous Gujarati businessman who brought a lot of changes in the industry in the state. While Ranveer portrays the businessman, Shalini will play his love interest.

According to the latest reports, the actress has given a screen test and audition in Mumbai. The production house was looking forward to launching a new face in Bollywood circuit, and that is when they found Shalini. Reportedly Aditya Chopra was impressed with her skills and decided that she will play the leading lady. Soon, the actress is going to begin shooting in the film. An official confirmation is awaited from the makers.

Also, on the work front, Shalini was recently seen in 100% Kaadhal, the Tamil remake of Telugu film 100% Love. Besides, she has Vijay Antony’s bilingual Jwala in her kitty, in which she plays an Indo-Turkish girl.

She will be seen playing a pivotal role in Anushka Shetty’s Nishabdam, which will release later this year. Directed by Hemanth Madhukar, Nishabdam has Madhavan, Anjali, Rao Ramesh, Subba Raju and others in lead roles.

Shalini rose to fame after her stint as Preeti in Arjun Reddy. She is getting quite a good number of offers and is going to announce a couple of films soon. If she manages to do it well in Jayeshbhai Jordaar, the actress will become popular in Bollywood as well.
