Hyderabad: The much-awaited first look of actor Sharwanand’s upcoming film ‘Sreekaram’ was unveiled on Sunday. The makers of the film took to Twitter and released the poster. The film is expected to release in summer.

The film is directed by debutant Kishore B and is produced by Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta under 14 Reels Entertainment. The film stars Priyanka Arul Mohan, who debuted with actor Nani’s ‘Gang leader’ as the female lead. Mickey J Meyer is composing the tunes and J Yuvaraj is handling the cinematography for the film.

Meanwhile, Sharwanand is currently gearing up for the release of ‘Jaanu’, a remake of the Tamil film 96’. The film which features him alongside Samantha Akkineni will be releasing in February on the eve of Valentine's Day. Recently, on the occasion of Republic Day, the makers released the second song of the film, ‘Oohale Oohale’ written by Sri Mani. The soothing melody composed by Govind Vasantha and sung by Chinmayi became an instant hit and is currently among the top trending songs on YouTube.

Other than this, Sharwanand will be next seen playing a gangster in ‘Maha Samudram’. The film is directed by Ajay Bhupathi of ‘RX100’ fame. The film which was earlier offered to Ravi Teja and Naga Chaithanya couldn’t materialise for various reasons. According to sources, Sharwanand liked the narration very much and has even told Ajay to not make any changes to the original story. Samantha is in consideration to play the female lead.

Sharwanand, who was last seen in ‘Ranarangam’ failed to create any impact with the film. However, the ‘Prasthanam’ actor is confident that his upcoming films will set the cash registers ringing at the box office.
