Singer S.P. Balasubramaniam tests positive for Covid-19, admitted in TN hospital, Condition stable

Hyderabad: Renowned playback singer S.P. Balasubramaniam posted a video from the hospital where he was admitted, saying he tested positive for Coronavirus and that he had very mild symptoms. He said he had cold, congestion in chest and fever for which he got tested. The doctors advised him to go for home quarantine and continue medication but the singer got admitted in a private hospital in Choolaimedu, Tamil Nadu.

In the video, SPB said, "For the last two-three days, I was having a little discomfort and chest congestion, for which a singer need not worry. Then I had a cold, and fever on and off. That apart, I had no other problem but I didn't want to take it light and so, I got myself tested in the hospital.”



Doctors told me they are very mild symptoms of Covid-19 and advised home quarantine and medication. “I felt it's too difficult to be in quarantine at home because the family will always be around and so, I got admitted in the hospital. My friends here are taking good care of me. I am in safe hands and nobody has to worry about me. My fever also has subsided and I will be discharged in a couple of days,” he said.
