Six-year-old run over by borewell digging vehicle, dead

Hyderabad: A six-year-old child died in an accident on Saturday evening. The incident took place at Rajendranagar in Hyderabad. The child K. Deekshitha alias Deeksha a Class I student was run over by a bore well digging vehicle, killing her on the spot.
Narasimha, a driver, and Padma, a daily labourer reside at Bandlaguda along with their child Deeksha.
On Saturday evening, the victim accompanied her mother to a nearby shop. The child was walking in front of her mother on the roadside. The driver of a bore well digging vehicle lost control of the vehicle. As a result, the vehicle swerved to the left and hit Deeksha. She fell and was crushed under the wheels of the vehicle. Police rushed to the spot and seized the vehicle and launched a hunt to nab the vehicle driver, who fled from the spot.
