Hyderabad: Former Miss World Manushi Chillar is making her Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar’s upcoming Prithviraj, produced by Yash Raj Films. The makers are leaving no stones unturned to make this period drama into one of Akshay’s best films.

As per the latest source, the makers are planning to construct 35 lavish sets for the making for this historical drama. Reportedly, most of the film’s part will be built in Maharashtra and a couple in Rajasthan. To make sure that the film is nothing less than a visual spectacle and extravagant for audiences, the makers decided not to compromise on anything.

This Akshay Kumar-starrer will feature high-octane action sequences, highlighting the opulence of kings and kingdoms of that era. To work in these 35 grand sets and action scenes, the makers have also roped in thousands of junior artistes.

Prithviraj is about the life of heroic and fearless king Prithviraj Chauhan, played by Akshay. Besides, Prithviraj is known as the last Hindu Samrat of India, who fought against the ruthless Muhammad of Ghor.

Manushi plays the role of Sanyogita. Confirming the news, she said, “It is a huge honour for me to be a part of this film and to be chosen by a production house such as Yash Raj Films as a heroine in their film. I am excited about learning on this journey. So far, my life has been a fairy tale.”

A doctor by profession, Manushi’s entry into films is one of the most awaited debuts of 2020.
