Sukumar busy writing a script for Chiru

Hyderabad: After the roaring success of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Megastar's fans are eagerly waiting for his next film with Koratala Siva. The fact that all of Koratala Siva's films have been hits so far has only managed to raise their expectations.

The latest buzz is that director Sukumar has also roped in Chiru to star in the Telugu remake of the Malayalam blockbuster, Lucifer. Although there is no official confirmation on the same, the news of Sukumar penning down a script for Chiru is doing rounds in the industry. Sukumar has written the script for the film but it is not clear whether he will be directing it. Chiranjeevi's son, Ram Charan, has bought the rights of the film, while N.V Prasad will be producing it. Chiranjeevi will be playing the role essayed by superstar Mohan Lal in the Malayalam film.

It is a known fact that Chiranjeevi has proven to be an evergreen superstar in the Telugu film industry.

After decades of churning out multiple hits, he continues to rule the hearts of filmgoers. His last film, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, was an epic action genre. It was produced by his son, Ram Charan, and focused on the Independence struggle against the British in the Rayalseema region of Andhra Pradesh led by the lesser-known freedom fighter, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy was received well by both fans and critics and went on to earn over Rs 200 crore at the box-office.

His role in the upcoming film with Koratala Siva has still not been revealed. The movie will be bankrolled by Konidela Production Company. Aishwarya Rai, Trisha, and Ileana are set to be a part of the film. It sure does look the Megastar is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring his fans are treated to his movies all year round.
