Hyderabad: Social activist and founder of Prajwala, Sunitha Krishnan has been admitted at Gandhi hospital on Monday morning. The Hyderabad-based sex trafficking activist is admitted for a suspected case of Corova virus. She has been admitted in an isolated ward and test samples are taken.

Alleging the inattention of Gandhi hospital Ms Sunitha on Monday morning tweeted, “So going to enjoy hospitality at Gandhi Hospital for two days as admitted in the isolation ward suspected corona virus. They have not started the tests yet ( 1.30 hrs since I arrived).I believe the results make take 48 hrs. At this pace, I have a feeling I am might be here sometime.”



The activist also confirmed that she had returned from Bangkok with a mild cough, and had been admitted in the isolation ward of Gandhi Hospital.

Meanwhile, on Monday two positive cases of coronavirus was reported in the country by the ministry of Health. While one patient belongs to Delhi, the other is reportedly from Telangana. According to the ministry, the person from Delhi has a travel history from Italy, while the one from Telangana has a travel history from Dubai.

The Ministry of Health further informed that both patients are stable and are being closely monitored.
