Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy-led foreign tour kickstarted with a trip to Singapore where the CM delegation of ‘Telangana Rising’ met with the officials of the Institute of Technical Education (ITE).
The team’s foreign visit has resulted in an MoU being signed between Hyderabad’s Young India Skill University and ITE for exploring various avenues in skill development.
The chief minister was accompanied by IT and Industries minister D Sridhar Babu, special chief secretary to Industries department Jayesh Ranjan, TGIIC MD Vishnuvardhan, special secretary to CM Ajith Reddy and Young India Skill University VC VLV SS Subbarao.
CM team invites ITE to participate in the growth of Fourth City
The delegation visited the ITE campus in Singapore and inspected the skill development courses and advanced facilities at the institute. The CM delegation interacted with experts from about 20 fields and a diverse panel of college staff providing training at the famous institute.

The chief minister’s team held discussions with the ITE’s top officials and requested them to extend cooperation to the Young India Skill University established in the Fourth City in Hyderabad. The ITE officials also expressed their readiness to visit Hyderabad soon.
In the high-level delegation meeting, minister Sridhar Babu explained the various courses introduced at the Skill University for skill development training to the youth and to meet the market demand for skilled workforce in various sectors.
MoU signed for upgrading skills among youth
The CM team said that the ITE delegation responded positively to the CM’s request and came forward to work together with Skill University. In a move to strengthen the ties further, the ITE and Skill University authorities entered an MoU for mutual cooperation in skills development.
The agreement was signed by Skill University vice chancellor Subba Rao, deputy director of Academics and Administration Services Parvinder Singh and deputy director of IT Education Services Fabian Chiang on behalf of the Singapore ITE delegation.
