EV Entrepreneurship 3rd Cohort program concludes; EV Masterclass, T Hub eye 100 startups

Hyderabad: EV Masterclass in collaboration with T Hub, the world's largest incubator, completed its Electric Vehicle Entrepreneurship 3rd Cohort.

The program was aimed to empower young engineers to become skilled professionals and entrepreneurs in the EV sector. It also aimed to address the industry's need for a relevant talent pool.

"EV Masterclass and T Hub have come together to launch the Electric Vehicle Entrepreneur Program, catering to the increasing demand for skilled professionals and entrepreneurs in the EV industry," said Rajeev YSR, Chief Mentor of EV Masterclass.

"Our goal is to not only nurture talent but also facilitate the growth of startups in the Electric Vehicle Ecosystem. By providing market access, business opportunities, and necessary support, we aim to foster the emergence of at least 100+ startups in the next two years, some of which we envision becoming Unicorns."

The comprehensive Electric Vehicle Entrepreneurship Program spanned two months and covered key aspects such as EV design, battery technology, charging infrastructure, business models, policy insights, and sustainable mobility solutions. The initiative provided participants with theoretical, and engineering knowledge along with practical exposure to the industry.

The graduation ceremony for the 3rd Cohort of the program took place on June 20 at T Hub, witnessing the graduation of 200 engineers. Notably, out of the 40 students who opted for placements, over 20 received job opportunities from prominent companies such as JLN Phoenix, Axiom Energy Conversion Pvt Ltd, and ETO Motors.

The program's success led to an increased interest in the EV industry among aspiring engineers and entrepreneurs. Manasa, one of the participants, expressed appreciation for the program's combination of theoretical knowledge and practical exposure, allowing them to gain insights into EV technology, design, testing, and production practices.

"Our college witnessed an increase in the placement of core engineering branches because of this EV Masterclass, and I strongly recommend all engineering colleges to execute similar programs," said Kanaka Durga, Principle, of MVSR Engineering College. "This initiative provides new opportunities and helps revive the diminishing core engineering branches."

Given the growing demand, registrations for the fourth Cohort of the Electric Vehicle Entrepreneurship Program are open. Additionally, an Electric Vehicle Boot Camp is scheduled for July to educate, equip, and empower participants.

T-HUB CEO Mahankali Srinivas Rao said, "We are incredibly proud to partner with EV Masterclass in building the EV ecosystem. We firmly believe that the knowledge and skills acquired through this program will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of electric mobility. We are looking to extend this program to other universities and organizations as well."
