Hyderabad: Telangana IT and industries and commerce minister K.T. Rama Rao presented the HYSEA Lifetime Achievement Award to R. Chandrasekhar, IAS (retd.), former president of NASSCOM.
HYSEA (Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association) organised the 30th edition of its prestigious Annual Summit & Awards 2023 that included a conference, product expo, and annual industry awards. The theme for this yearās conference was āRe-Imagine, Re-Think and Re-Build the Futureā.
Manisha Saboo, president of HYSEA, welcomed the participants and said, āWe believe the Telangana IT industry is at the tipping point. At this opportune time, we must rethink, reimagine, and rebuild the future.ā
Stating that in the next three years, India is expected to add 2 million IT jobs, she said only about 30ā40% of which will be from traditional IT services organisations and the rest will be from GCC and startups. āThis carefully curated conference is a step towards making Telangana ready to capitalise on this humongous growth potential. HYSEA also believes startup and innovation will be drivers of future business growth. So, as we step into next year, HYSEA will be planning for interventions to make innovation and startups mainstream in Telangana,ā she added.
This year, HYSEA presented its coveted Lifetime Achievement Award to R. Chandrashekhar, IAS (retd.), chairman of Centre for the Digital Future and former president of NASSCOM for his stellar contribution to the Indian IT Industry and Hyderabad industry in particular.
