NIXI now offers free domain names in 22 Indian languages
The National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI), on Friday, announced that it will offer a free IDN (Internationalized Domain Name) in any of their preferred 22 official Indian languages along with every .in domain booked by the registrant.

Hyderabad: The National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI), on Friday, announced that it will offer a free IDN (Internationalized Domain Name) in any of their preferred 22 official Indian languages along with every .in domain booked by the registrant.
The applicant will also get a free email in their local language. This offer has been created to stimulate the adoption of भारत (IDN) domain name and proliferation of local language content.
This offer is valid for new .in users who registered up to 31 January 2021. This offer has also been extended to those existing .in users who renewed their domain in January 2021.
NIXI is a non-profit organization that has been spreading awareness about the internet since 2003 through 'Internet Exchanges' where internet data is exchanged among ISPs and CDNs, and managing .in country code domain and भारत IDN domain for India.
