Pulivendula: Andhra gets `Centre of Excellence for Electric Vehicles Skills & Training’

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy inaugurated the `Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Electric Vehicles Skills & Training’ in Pulivendula.

This is part of the MoU signed between the Andhra Pradesh government and EV Masterclass.

“This is the first of its kind initiative and state-of-the-art lab across the country. The entire lab is set up in line with that of the regular electric vehicle assembly line. The entire layout is designed in such a way that students start with the components of electric vehicles, build the systems, and battery packs, integrate with the BMS, and assemble the entire thing into an electric vehicle. Students will face no difficulties in adapting themselves to the Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Industry" said Rajeev YSR, Founder and CEO of EV Masterclass.

Multiple screens will be set up to explain the assembly process of each component in detail using a lot of videos and animations to ensure the students understand the technology in detail.

The students will not only understand the theoretical aspects of electric vehicles but also practice their skills on different simulators and equipment.

Youth having diploma and degree in engineering can enroll themselves in 6 month EV Masterclass program. The skill academy also has a hostel facility to accommodate 300 students at one time.

Under the program, the CoE will help pass-outs in their placement.
