Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: IT and Industries minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu and Ganabatirau Veeraman, MP and deputy president of Selangor province, Malaysia, came together to discuss new avenues for cross-state collaboration.
In a bilateral meeting on Monday, facilitated by TConsult at the Hilton Kuala Lumpur Hotel, the minister and his team highlighted the shared commitment to leveraging technology, upskilling initiatives and immersive educational programs for the mutual benefit of citizens in both regions.
Ganabatirau Veeraman, a Telugu-origin leader in Malaysia, was congratulated by minister Sridhar Babu and TConsult chairman Sundeep Makthala for his recent appointment as deputy president of Selangor State. Both leaders praised Sundeep Makthalaās efforts, acknowledging TConsultās pivotal role in fostering such vital international alliances.
Skill development programmes discussed
Key initiatives discussed include upskilling and immersion programs aimed at empowering Malaysian students, who will soon visit Hyderabad for skill development opportunities under TConsultās guidance. This collaboration aimed to nurture talent and strengthen cross-border connections between India and Malaysia.
Minister Sridhar Babu also formally invited Ganabatirau to visit Telangana to witness firsthand the technological advancements and digital infrastructure that the State offers. The minister has requested TConsult to coordinate further G2G (Government-to-Government) meetings, with a focus on bringing tangible benefits to citizens on both sides.
This meeting sets the stage for ongoing state-to-state collaboration between Telangana and Selangor, reinforcing Hyderabadās growing reputation as a hub of innovation and cross-border partnerships.
