Hyderabad: In yet another techie suicide, a software professional from West Bengal allegedly committed suicide at Gachibowli in Hyderabad. The 30-year-old Agnieshwar Chakravarti hanged himself at his rented flat.
According to the police, Agnieshwar was working for a software firm for more than a year. He, along with a colleague, was living in the flat. On Friday night, his colleague went out of the city on a vacation leaving Agnieshwar alone in the flat. When the colleague returned on Monday, he found Agnieshwar hanging from the ceiling fan. Though he did not leave a suicide note, the police suspect a failed love affair forced him to take the extreme step.
Agnieshwar's neighbor Saptarshi told police that on Sunday night the victim’s elder sister had called him and said Agnieshwar was not answering his calls from Sunday night. She had asked him to check on him. The Gachibowli police have registered a case and started an investigation.
