Cops were caught on camera kicking, slapping and thrashing three lads and used sticks. The incident reportedly occurred during wee hours of Wednesday on Karimnagar-Sircilla road. In a 20-second video, four personnel encircled and thrashed the youth.
However, according to the police, a bunch of revellers carrying chains and blunt weapons created a ruckus on the Karimnagar – Sircilla road post celebrations.
Speaking to NewsMeter, Rajanna Sircilla Superintendent of Police Rahul Hedge said, “ A group of young Boys in an intoxicated condition, broke beer bottles on the main road. Carrying chains and blunt weapons, they tried to cut the cake on the main road. The gang were found creating a nuisance and also threatened to barge into an ATM centre and a house, which could have proved harmful”.
The Cops say only one part of the video was made viral however the fact was concealed. The youth tried to enact a movie scene by holding chains, they said.
The case against the three youth is the first in the NewsYears. “ There is evidence of them creating a ruckus, in order to bring them under control, cops took action.
