Telangana education board releases timetable for Class X SSC exams 2020
By Newsmeter Network Published on 22 May 2020 11:15 AM GMTHyderabad: The Telangana Board of Secondary Education, on 22 May, released the revised timetable for the secondary school certificate (SSC) class X exams to be held in June. The exams, which were postponed due to the COVID-19 situation in the country, will begin from 8 June.
English paper-1 has been scheduled for 8 June and English paper-2 for 11 June. The Mathematics paper-1 examination will be held on 14 June, Mathematics paper-2 on 17 June, Science 1 (Physics) on 20 June, Science 2 (Biology) on 23 June, while the Social Studies 1 examination will be conducted on 26 June and Social Studies 2 on 29 June. The OSSC main language paper-1 (Sanskrit, Arabic) examination will be held on 2 July and SSC vocational course theory has been scheduled for 5 July.

The Telangana High Court had earlier given the green signal to the state government to hold the SSC exams from 8 June. The court had said there should be an interval of two days between each examination.
The HC had also instructed the state to hold a meeting on 3 June regarding the current situation and submit a report on June 4 on the stateās preparedness to conduct the exams. A separate control room for students should also be set up, the court had said.
