Telangana government declares Dasara holiday on Monday

Hyderabad: Telangana Government on October 23 declared Vijay Dasami holiday on October 26(Monday). Earlier, as per the scheduled holiday from the government of Telangana, October 25(Sunday) was the general holiday for Vijay Dasami.

"After careful consideration of the matter, have decided to change the General Holiday for 'Vijay Dasami' festival to 26 October 2020 (Monday) instead of 25 October 2020 (Sunday). Accordingly, the following notification is issued and shall be published in the extraordinary Gazette of Telangana State," said, Somesh Kumar, Chief Secretary to Government in its order.
