Telangana State Government announce holidays upto 19th October

Hyderabad: The state government has extended Dassehra holidays for all educational institutions up to 19^th October. The announcement was made on Saturday evening and comes in the wake of on-going TS RTC strike.

In an official press release issued by the TS Board of Intermediate Education Vidhya Bhavan , it stated, “All the Principals of Junior college and composite Degree college offering 2 year intermediate courses in TS are informed that holidays are declared from 14^th – 20^th October (both days inclusive) and are instructed not to conduct any classes for the students during the said period. After the above holidays, the Junior college shall re-open on 21^st October”.

The government has directed the principals to strictly follow these orders. “Violation of instructions shall be viewed seriously and action will be initiated against the erring management/ Principals including disaffiliation,” the statement said.
