She doubles up as a daily wage coolie on holidays working in farms.
Meet Taslima who belongs to Mulugu District of Telangana, is a sub-registrar, a group-II cadre officer at the district registration and stamps department, also runs an award-winning NGO that helps poor and destitute with their education and upbringing. At times when professionals like her look to spend their holidays away from work, this comes as a pleasant site for the sore eye!
When she's not working on her full-time job, Taslima is seen working at the fields and sharing a meal with the daily wage workers who work in the farms. Her contributions from the NGO coupled with her services as a govt. employee have won her the best administrator award given by the state government.

She also made headlines when an orphan kid Anusha, supported by Taslima's NGO scored big in her matriculation exams. Born in a poor family, Taslima's contributions have been instrumental in supporting several other poor kids like Anusha.
Her part-time farm work attempts to make a statement to the outside world, governments and authorities on the state of affairs in the farming sector and underlines the understated challenges caused by the lack of skill and labor notwithstanding the lack of incentives to workers involved in farming.
