Telangana to witness light to moderate rain in coming days: IMD

Hyderabad: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a yellow alert for Telangana on Sunday, September 6.

The next five days, as per the forecast, will bring respite from growing heat for citizens, with light to moderate rain occurring in several areas.

Sunday onwards, light to moderate rain or thundershowers will be occurring in selected places over Telangana. Between September 7 to 8, rainfall will occur over several areas in the state.

IMD also warned that thunderstorms and lightning will occur over isolated places in the state.

Until the evening of September 11, 25 to 75 per cent of areas will witness rainfall. As for Hyderabad in particular, the sky will be cloudy with few spells of rainfall.
