1 dead, 11 injured in Peddapalli road accident
A TSRTC bus fell into a gorge after colliding with a car in Manthani Mandal of Peddapalli district on Wednesday

Hyderabad: One person was killed and 11 passengers were injured when the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) bus in which they were traveling fell off into a gorge after a collision with a car in Manthani Mandal of Peddapalli district in Telangana on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Vineet, the driver of the ill-fated bus. The injured persons were shifted to a hospital where the condition of three of them is stated to be serious.
A speeding car coming in the opposite direction rammed into the bus and as a result, both the vehicles lost control and fell into the gorge. The bus was on its way to Hanmakonda from Bellampalli when the incident occurred.
The car driver was driving on the wrong side which led to the accident. The conductor said the car suddenly came on the right side and though the bus driver tried his best to avoid the collision, he could not control the vehicle.
